Location. The Orbis Oddzial Hotel Francuski Krakow is a 19th century property set in Krakow city centre, within the fortifications of the Old Town's city walls. The Czartoryski Museum is opposite the hotel, and Wawel Royal Castle is 1.5 kilometres away. Krak�w Balice International Airport (KRK) is eight kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of 20 minutes.
Hotel Features. A grand double staircase connects the Orbis Oddzial Hotel's lobby to the upper floors, and the green, gold and cream colour scheme extends throughout the property. Hot and cold drinks are served in the informal Napoleon Bar. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in the hotel's public areas, and city maps are available in reception. Multilingual staff at the 24 hour front desk are on hand to offer tour assistance and provide room service. Other amenities include a gift shop, laundry facilities and dry cleaning services. Those arriving by car will find complimentary parking at the rear of the hotel (limited availability, must be reserved in advance).
The hotel's traditionally decorated restaurant features white linen topped tables and dark wood and green furnishings, and serves Polish and international fare for breakfast and dinner.

Getting there. Train services run from the airport train station to Krakow Dworzec Glowny train station. The airport station is 200 metres from the terminal, and can be reached by a free shuttle bus service. Trains run every 30 minutes between 4 AM and midnight. The journey takes around 15 minutes and a single fare is approximately 1 EUR (4 PLN). Tickets can be purchased on board. Two bus services run from the airport to the city centre every 15 25 minutes. Line 208 goes to Nowy Kleparz (downtown), and Line 192 runs to Krakow Glowny train station. The fare is less than 1 EUR and tickets must be validated before boarding. Separate tickets should also be purchased for each large piece of luggage. Krakow Glowny train station is 500 metres from the hotel. Taxis are available outside the terminal and typically cost 20 EUR (77 PLN) to the city centre. All prices are subject to change.
