The Hotel Le Donjon is three stone built period buildings in the centre of the medieval French city of Carcassonne. The 62 climate controlled guestrooms, over three floors, have muted pastel tones, modern furnishings and original features. All are equipped with satellite television with pay movies, direct dial phones, dial up and wireless Internet access, safes, minibars and coffee/tea makers. Bathrooms have makeup mirrors and hair dryers.
The Brasserie Le Donjon is set in a stone walled and serves local specialities, such as Cassoulet (a stew of goose confit and beans) and Foie Gras. A breakfast buffet is served on the terrace during summer. The hotel offers a combination of historic charm and modern facilities, such as wireless Internet access in Maison du Donjon, and air conditioning in public areas. Just a short walk away in a separate building, breakfast is served each morning. The bar serves a wide range of drinks and features a television, and guests can also benefit from a dry cleaning service, laundry facilities, and a safe deposit box at the front desk.
