Location. The Banff Caribou Lodge and Spa stands five blocks from downtown Banff, Alberta, Canada. Upper Hot Springs and the Sulphur Mountain Gondola are located five kilometers away, while area ski lifts are positioned six kilometers from the lodge.
Hotel Features. The lobby is dominated by a massive fieldstone fireplace and displays hand hewn timbers, ranch style furnishings and original alpine scene artwork. The lobby houses an Internet kiosk which can be accessed for a fee. The Keg Steakhouse and Bar serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. This rustic style restaurant specializes in steak and seafood, but offers vegetarian dishes. The Red Earth Spa offers an exclusive line of European Phytomer spa products for hotel guests. Spa treatments include Vichy therapies, beauty services, and Swedish, shiatsu, and sports massages. The spa houses a spa tub, a sauna and separate exercise rooms for men and women. Yoga classes are offered twice weekly. The spa provides yoga mats.
Guestrooms. This four story lodge offers 195 guestrooms accessed by exterior corridor elevators. Mountain Luxury beds feature feather top mattress covers, down duvets and four synthetic down pillows. D�cor includes landscape artwork, crown moldings and contemporary wooden furniture. High speed Internet access is available.
Expert Tip. Guests receive complimentary transportation, courtesy of the hotel, into downtown and to other popular local attractions via the Banff Transit bus system.

Book a stay and receive accommodations as selected and complimentary access to the Banff Transit, which offers hotel guests transportation to Downtown shops and restaurants, Sulphur Mountain Gondola, Upper Hot Springs and the Castle in the Mountains. From Calgary International Airport: Approximate distance to the airport is 145 km.
Travel northwest on 14th Street NW. Take the Highway 1/16 Avenue N/Trans Canada Highway ramp. Turn right onto Trans Canada Highway/Highway 1/16 Avenue NW. Proceed onto Trans Canada Highway/Highway 1 W. Take the exit toward Banff. Turn left onto Mt. Norquay Road.
Getting there. A shuttle operates between the airport and the town of Banff, for a fee. Car rentals are available online. Note: The town of Banff is located in the center of Banff National Park. Visitors who rent cars are required to purchase a National Parks pass for a fee, per calendar day spent in the park, or they may purchase an annual pass. Group passes also are available.
Getting around. Banff is a small town, negotiated on foot, bus, or by taxi. Courtesy of the hotel, guests have complimentary access to the Banff Transit bus, which runs every 30 minutes. The bus stops near downtown shops and restaurants, the Sulphur Mountain gondola, Upper Hot Springs, and the Banff Springs hotel. Travelers can also use taxis or rental cars to visit outlying attractions, such as the hot springs and gondola, which are located three miles away.
